Changes: the HTML markup of the served strings was removed (tags; four character references replaced by the characters they name; a line-break or paragraph tag and a raw line end became a line feed, a run of them one line feed, none at the start or end of a text); the site's footnote markers (a number in braces) were removed where the site serves the footnote with the text (476 markers; 8 for which it serves none were left), and the footnotes are not included; nothing else was changed.
