اعْزُبِي عَنِّي! فَوَاللهِ لَا أَذِلُّ لَكِ فَتَسْتَذِلِّينِي، وَلَا أَسْلَسُ لَكِ فَتَقُودِينِي. وَايْمُ اللهِ ـ يَمِيناً أسْتَثْنِي فِيهَا بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ ـ لَأَرُوضَنَّ نَفْسِي رِيَاضَةً تَهِشُّ مَعَهَا إِلَى الْقُرْصِ إِذَا قَدَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ مَطْعُوماً، وَتَقْنَعُ بِالْمِلْحِ مَأْدُوماً، وَلَأَدَعَنَّ مُقْلَتِي كَعَيْنِ مَاءٍ، نَضَبَ مَعِينُهَا مُسْتَفْرِغَةً دُمُوعَهَا.The text, as its source published it
