٤٧. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): قَدْرُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى قَدْرِ هِمَّتِهِ، وَصِدْقُهُ عَلَى قَدْرِ مُرُوءَتِهِ، وَشَجَاعَتُهُ عَلَى قَدْرِ أَنَفَتِهِ، وَعِفَّتُهُ عَلَى قَدْرِ غَيْرَتِهِ.The text, as its source published it
