Surah 107 الماعون

Meccan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ Verse 1
Hast thou observed him who belieth religion?
Verse 1, Where in the source
فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ Verse 2
That is he who repelleth the orphan,
Verse 2, Where in the source
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ Verse 3
And urgeth not the feeding of the needy.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ Verse 4
Ah, woe unto worshippers

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ Verse 5
Who are heedless of their prayer;

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ Verse 6
Who would be seen (at worship)

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ Verse 7
Yet refuse small kindnesses!
