Back to the verses

Tafsir Nemooneh (تفسیر نمونه), the Persian commentary of the Quran written under Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi with a group of co-authors, as published on https://quran.makarem.ir/, the Quran and tafsir site of the office of آیت الله العظمی مکارم شیرازی: one page per ayah (/fa/interpretation?sura=…&verse=…). Part 01: surah 1 ayah 1 to surah 4 ayah 176, 372 passages. Terms: the footer notice of that site, «استفاده از مطالب با ذکر منبع بلامانع است.» (Use of the content with mention of the source is permitted.); a notice of the publisher, not an open licence. Passages: the site serves one commentary for a passage on the page of each of its ayahs; consecutive ayahs of one surah whose pages serve the same commentary form one record with that range. An ayah whose page serves no commentary of its own joins a neighbouring passage only when that passage quotes it. Changes: only the HTML markup of the commentary block was removed: block elements became paragraphs separated by one blank line, a line-break tag a line feed, inline tags gave their text unchanged; the character references (  « » >) were replaced by the characters they name; white space of the markup was collapsed to one space and dropped at the edges of a paragraph; the footnotes stay where the page has them, after the text, with their markers; nothing else was changed. Not taken: the ayah and its translation shown above the commentary.
