Surah 97 القدر
5 Verses
Meccan
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ Verse 1
Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.
Verse 1, Where in the source
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ Verse 2
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!
Verse 2, Where in the source
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ Verse 3
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ Verse 4
The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ Verse 5
(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.
