Surah 100 العاديات
11 Verses
Meccan
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا Verse 1
By the snorting courses,
Verse 1, Where in the source
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا Verse 2
Striking sparks of fire
Verse 2, Where in the source
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا Verse 3
And scouring to the raid at dawn,
Verse 3, Where in the source
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا Verse 4
Then, therewith, with their trail of dust,
Verse 4, Where in the source
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا Verse 5
Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe),

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ Verse 6
Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord
Verse 6, Where in the source
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ Verse 7
And lo! he is a witness unto that;
Verse 7, Where in the source
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ Verse 8
And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent.
Verse 8, Where in the source
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ Verse 9
Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth
Verse 9, Where in the source
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ Verse 10
And the secrets of the breasts are made known,
Verse 10, Where in the source
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ Verse 11
On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them.
