Surah 99 الزلزلة
8 Verses
Medinan
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا Verse 1
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake
Verse 1, Where in the source
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا Verse 2
And Earth yieldeth up her burdens,
Verse 2, Where in the source
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا Verse 3
And man saith: What aileth her?

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا Verse 4
That day she will relate her chronicles,
Verse 4, Where in the source
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا Verse 5
Because thy Lord inspireth her.

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ Verse 6
That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds.

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ Verse 7
And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then,
Verse 7, Where in the source
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ Verse 8
And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then.
